Iroquoia Section - Felker's Falls (23.2 km) to Lewis Road (11.1 km) - July 13,2023. The Hiking With Friends group, after having had the previous week's planned hike scuttled by extreme heat and the chance of stormy weather, made it out this past Thursday to the Iroquoia Section to enjoy a 12(ish) km part of the Bruce Trail between Felker's Falls and Lewis Road to the east... It doesn't get much more "linear" than this route, with hardly a major twist or turn, as we travelled along the thin green oasis that separates the dense urban environment along the southern shore of Lake Ontario, and the (for now at least) primarily agricultural lands above the escarpment...we covered this distance in 4 1/2 hours (actual distance including side trails, etc. was closer to 14 km) and climbed a surprising 300 meters... After the previous night's intense and prolonged rain storm, the skies overhead this morning at our Lewis Road drop area were clearing somewhat... havin...
