Welcome back to SteveR and Nancy.
The forest floor has magically come alive and we were treated to carpets of spring flowers.

Downy Yellow Violet (correction the Canada Violet is white not yellow)

Lots of stops to enjoy the wild flowers

The group split up for a short time. While some followed the main trail, the others explored the Roberts Side Trail with an interesting vernal pool, breeding habitat of the Jefferson Salamander
