Hiking with Friends

Caledon Hills Section - Innes Lake Road (31.5 km) to 7th Line (43.3 km) - September 5, 2024 Seven of us hiked this lovely section on a lovely day:  Rhonda, Steve K, Ron B, Doug (HC and photographer), Zlad (photographer and Muris' son), Muris, and Georgia. Another hiker whom we met took this photo at the start (nobody appreciates my skills with selfies).  The keeners (almost all of us) showed up at the meeting place on 7th Line shortly after 8:00am.  Rhonda got lost and appeared exactly  at 8:30am. Nevertheless, we finished by 12:30pm notwithstanding some decent ups and downs!  And we stopped for lunch.  A fast bunch! Off we went: Emerging on Coolihan's Sideroad ... Toronto Section - Winston Churchill Blvd (42.9 km) to  Caledon Hills Section -  Chinguacousy Road (2.8 km) - August 29,2024. Today's hike was a short 11 kms on a mild summer's day under a mostly light overcast.  Perfect conditions for this easy hike which includes a fair amount of road walking. There w ere nine of us. From left to right, Ron (photographer and hiding shyly mostly off camera -  sorry Ron - I'm still struggling with group selfies! ), Steve K, Marleen, Josie (photographer), Sandra (sweep), Andrew (photographer), Nancy, Grace, and Doug (HC & photographer).
