Before the hike Barbara presented Lesley with a gift of a hiking staff in congratulations for completion of the Bruce Trail. But, shhh... I think she has a gift for everyone who completed! Thank You Barbara!

Happy to be on the trail...

We started to hike well bundled up against rain, but it never really materialized and we quickly had clothing adjustments.

We quickly sped through the Dingle arriving at a little stream and time for a few photos.

We then arrive at Glen Haffy Conservation Area.

Confusing trail blazes....

New type of stile??

Figure taped to the blaze???

The rain held off giving us some blue skies.

We are making good time and decide to cross Hwy 9 before we stop for elevensies.
On our way out of the woods we are counted!

Crossing Hwy 9.

We go right back down into the woods of the Humber Valley.

We literally stop on the trail....

We find time to sing Happy Birthday to Sir Hike-a-lot, as he tuns 65 yrs of age this week!

We crossed a very feeble little bridge......

We make our way out to the cars, first stopping at our favorite anukshuk for a pole ceremony.....

First, a few photos of Ron and Andrew on the Trail...
Andrew kindly hiked with Ron.....

Ron on top of Beaver Valley Ski Hill....you all know the one that takes your breath away!!
