Toronto Section #4 - 27th SR to Winston Churchill - 10.61 km

This week we hiked 10.61km from 27th Sideroad to Winston Churchill.  The weather was glorious for November starting with frosty windshields and warming up to a balmy 14oC.

Twelve hikers joined the hike Ron, Liz, Peter, Laura, Barbara (HC), Andrea, Lesley, Sandra (sweep), Josie, Frank, Steve K, Steve R.  A group effort for photography this week with loads of photos of the trail.

The bridge pose of the week!

Basking in sunshine for our Elevenses break.

The trail is well sign posted as we walk through the conservation areas.

Steve enjoys a moment in the sunshine!

Have Laura & Peter possibly found a "marker tree"?  Their smiles say it all, it's a beautiful day to be in the forest.

There was a whole lot of malarkey going on as Andrea, Peter and Ron displayed various techniques of climbing this tree.

Up and over several stiles along the trail. Our sweep Sandra points the way!

Some rocky sections required care and concentration with rocks and uneven trail surface hidden under the fallen leaves.

Are we going the right way?

Congratulations to both Laura and Peter on completing the Toronto Section with this hike.

Congratulation to Andrea who completed the Toronto Section with this hike.

Congratulations to Josie who solo hiked the entire Camino de Santiago.

Well done all!

See you on the trail soon!
